The AquaCam HD Pan-and-Tilt Well Inspection Camera is built for professional visual inspection of wells and boreholes where precise control of the viewing direction is important. The motorized 2″ (50 mm) camera head provides continuous 360° pan, 180° tilt, and adjustable focus, allowing the operator to examine casing walls, joints, screens, deposits, obstructions, and other visible areas without repositioning the entire camera assembly.

Live inspection video is displayed on a 13″ HD monitor. Photos and video can be recorded for documentation, reporting, before-and-after comparisons, and planning of cleaning, repair, or rehabilitation work.

A 390 ft (120 m) cable provides access for deep well inspections, while the digital depth counter tracks camera position along the cable to help relate recorded observations to approximate inspection depth.

The stainless-steel camera head is IP68 rated and designed to withstand pressures up to 10 bar, with a maximum submersion depth of 328 ft (100 m). Its construction is suited to repeated field inspections in wells and boreholes.

Six adjustable high-output LEDs built into the camera head provide controllable illumination as bore diameter, water clarity, and viewing distance change. Combined with adjustable focus and full pan-and-tilt movement, they help the operator examine specific areas in greater detail.

An integrated 10,500 mAh rechargeable Li-ion battery supports up to four hours of operation. The 110–240 V AC input also allows the system to operate from mains power when available.

AquaCam can be used to inspect well casings, screens, joints, visible deposits, obstructions, and other accessible internal conditions before and after cleaning, repair, or rehabilitation. The system is also suitable for compatible shafts, reservoirs, and tanks with unobstructed openings from 2″ to 30″.

A one-year warranty and ongoing technical support are included for after-sales assistance and routine field use.

Which camera head is included, and when should I choose the optional straight-view camera?

The standard AquaCam system includes a 2″ (50 mm) HD Pan & Tilt camera head with 360° pan, 180° tilt, and adjustable focus. It is intended for detailed inspection of casing walls, joints, well screens, and selected areas at the required depth.

The optional 1.6″ (40 mm) straight-view camera provides a fixed forward view, directed downward during vertical deployment. Its smaller diameter is better suited to restricted openings and general downward inspection, but it does not provide remotely controlled sidewall viewing. The straight-view camera is sold separately; contact PipeXpert to confirm compatibility and configuration requirements.

What structures and opening sizes can AquaCam inspect?

AquaCam is suitable for water wells, boreholes, casings, shafts, reservoirs, tanks, and other compatible vertical structures. The standard Pan & Tilt camera is intended for nominal clear openings from 2″ to 30″.

The actual internal diameter must provide sufficient clearance for the 2″ camera head. Casing joints, deformation, deposits, and existing obstructions should be considered before deployment.

Why does the system have a 390 ft cable if the maximum submersion depth is 328 ft?

The system includes a 390 ft (120 m) cable to provide working length for reel placement, above-ground routing, and site setup. The manufacturer specifies a maximum submersion depth of 328 ft (100 m) and a camera-head pressure rating of 10 bar.

Cable length and maximum submerged operating depth are therefore separate specifications.

Can AquaCam record photos and video with a depth reference?

Yes. AquaCam records MP4 video and JPEG images at 1280 × 720 resolution. The digital counter measures cable payout in feet or metres and provides an approximate inspection-depth reference for reports and maintenance records.

Actual camera depth may vary slightly from the counter reading because of cable routing, slack, and well geometry.

Does water clarity affect inspection quality?

Yes. Suspended sediment, debris, and disturbed deposits can reduce visibility and reflect light back toward the camera. For best results, allow the water to settle when possible, lower the camera slowly, and adjust the LED intensity to suit the inspection conditions.

AquaCam includes a one-year warranty and ongoing technical support. Warranty coverage is subject to the applicable terms and operation within the published pressure, depth, temperature, and usage limits.
