AquaCam HD Dual-Camera Borehole Inspection System
- For deep well and borehole inspections down to 1,640 ft (500 m), the system combines a fixed down-view camera for the bore path with a 360° rotating side-view camera for detailed casing-wall inspection. Manual focus on the side-view camera and adjustable LED illumination support closer examination of areas of interest, while the reinforced 8.2 mm cable and IP68 protection up to 50 bar are suited to demanding long-depth deployments. A heavy-duty motorized reel with variable 0–20 m/min deployment and retrieval provides controlled cable handling throughout the inspection.
The system is intended for professional visual assessment of deep wells and boreholes where the inspection must cover both the bore path and the surrounding wall without repeated repositioning of the camera assembly.
The two-camera configuration provides HD 720P imaging from a fixed down-view camera and a 360° rotating side-view camera with manual focus. This allows the operator to maintain visibility below the camera while examining specific sections of casing, screens, joints, deposits, or other visible conditions along the wall.
For long deployments, the camera head and reinforced cable are IP68 rated up to 50 bar. The heavy-duty motorized reel provides adjustable deployment and retrieval from 0–20 m/min, with an emergency stop for controlled cable handling.
A digital footage counter tracks cable payout in feet or meters with less than 1% stated error, helping relate recorded observations to approximate inspection depth. Inspection video is displayed on a 13-inch HD monitor and can be recorded as MP4 video, JPEG images, and audio for later review and reporting.
Built-in temperature and compass readings provide additional on-screen context during the inspection, while adjustable LED illumination helps maintain visibility as bore diameter, water clarity, and viewing distance change.
Together, these features support detailed condition assessment, documented inspections, and planning of maintenance, rehabilitation, retrieval, or repair work in deep wells and boreholes.
