The modular system consists of a robust robotic crawler chassis, an HD pan-and-tilt video camera head, an automatic cable reel, and a centralized control console terminal.

Engineered for responsive maneuverability, the sewer camera crawler delivers instant execution of navigation commands, including forward/backward transit, steering, braking, and variable speed regulation. Operators maintain complete remote control over the inspection environment via a motorized camera lift, pan-and-tilt functionality, optical zoom, and instant dual-view switching between front and rear-view backup cameras. High-resolution defect images can be captured and saved mid-inspection.

For maximum accuracy, the Crawler ES5X can be configured with an integrated LiDAR laser scanner, a panoramic laser camera, and specialized software. This LiDAR pipeline scanning setup allows field crews to generate full unwrapped pipe views, deformation chromatograms, and cross-sectional profiles. By leveraging LiDAR point cloud data, the system provides millimeter-accurate measurements of deformations and sediment deposits, allowing operators to export a comprehensive 3D model of the surveyed underground network.
